Following the TDHCA’s recent meeting on Thursday, November 7, new rules were unanimously adopted (6-0) requiring all Public Facility Corporations (PFCs) to submit an audit report. The audit for 2024 is due by December 15, with a one-time 30-day extension available for good cause, as granted by the Executive Director. Moving forward, PFCs must submit audit reports annually by June 1, with no future extensions or exceptions.
Members should also anticipate further clarification or changes on this issue in the upcoming legislative session.
