TAA’s top legislative priority—SB 267—passes Senate


On April 7, the Texas Senate passed SB 267 by Sen. Charles Perry (R-Lubbock), which prevents municipalities and counties from passing or enforcing ordinances or regulations that require renting to persons regardless of their source of income, including government housing vouchers.

Vehicle inspection stickers to fade away


Multifamily operators need to be aware that effective March 1 of this year, Texas has moved to a system where motorists will no longer be required to display inspection stickers on their windshields.
