Important Message for TAA Members on Ebola & Rental Housing
As we are all aware, two health professionals in Dallas have been diagnosed recently with Ebola; both are rental housing residents. Others in Texas and around the country are being monitored because of exposure or possible exposure to the Ebola virus.

On October 2, the United States Supreme Court agreed to hear a case challenging “disparate impact” as an appropriate basis for making a fair housing claim.

Early voting for November election opens October 20

Next month, Texans will elect a new governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, comptroller, land commissioner, all members of the state House of Representatives, half of the members of the Texas Senate and key members of the state Supreme Court.

US Airways hero pilot to keynote TAA Education Conference

On January 15, 2009, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger guided a US Airways Airbus A319 to a safe splash landing in the Hudson River, after the jet lost both engines shortly after taking off at La Guardia Airport in New York City.
